Camut family is one of the oldest growers and distillers of high quality calvados in Pays d'Auge with an amazing collection of old Calvados.
25 different types of apples grow at the domaine, and are only harvested at optimum maturity. Only apples grown on the property are used to product Calvados.
The stills to distil the cider were patented by Adrien Camut and have a unique configuration. The stills are heated with wood from the apple trees.
Cows are roaming freely on the property to help keep up the grass and fertilize the land. No chemical products are used, farm is run biologically.
The calvados is bottled directly and labelled by hand. There is no filtration, no sugar or artificial colouring is added.
